The Johor State Farmers’ Organization (PPNJ) was established on July 7, 1971, under the Farmers’ Organization Act of 1973. PPNJ is overseen by the Malaysian Farmers’ Organization Authority under the Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry. PPNJ actively contributes to the economy through activities in agriculture, manufacturing, real estate, marketing of Crude Palm Oil and Kernels, and investments in its subsidiaries.

Peladang Urus Sdn Bhd (PUSB) is one of PPNJ’s subsidiary companies, established in 1983 and later made dormant in 2005. On September 1, 2015, the company was reactivated. Initially, upon its reactivation, PUSB was involved in the sale of frozen products and event management activities.

In 2018, PUSB fully took over the management of PPNJ’s Food Processing Factory. Today, PUSB is engaged in six main business activities: processing and selling juices and cordials, marketing marinated products under the “Peladang” brand, marketing mineral water, providing office cleaning services, marketing local rice, and offering customized goodies and other orders.
